Mate I've done about 120,000kms, if your sig is true I think you must be one of those hubs of disease that I saw mentioned on a TV special once :D

But thanks for reading the thread Mr Crust!

Hey Steve, did you convert the livelink output from mph to kmh? Looks like you probably have with that good time :-)

With the boost-error method that reading is taken before the throttle body at the t-map sensor. I use the cars dyno style reading which is the MAP - BAP method. This is obviously read in the manifold and it uses the same method as a dyno so its always a good comparison.

Yaah Brendan I wished I'd taken the MAP BAP reading but I was trying out this boost error thing after talking to Simon about it. Can't remember properly what the number means though (positive is underboost compared to desired boost? I also dunno what unit of measurement is used). Still haven't logged with the method you explained yet, must look at what my boost spike is on gear changes  SO many sensors on these things. Oh a question - I checked my china gauge temp reading and it's about 4° high at 70° and 100°, is there an oil pressure sensor in the car already? Couldn't find one in the long list of IDs, so I can't check my oil pressure gauge accuracy.

I converted to kmh yeah. If not, I got to 160km/h in 4.6!!! Sign me up for 10's bracket haha :)

Can't log pressure Steve :-( Yeah positive is underboost. Think in terms of a common PI system, consult wiki. Both map sensors are measured by livelink in inches of mercury so divide by 2.036 to convert to psi.
