The halos are wired directly to the parker circuit, so they can be run by themselves.  I also removed the parker globes since they are an ugly yellowish colour, and LED parkers are too busy looking with all the reflections.  The halos aren't bright enough to drive with solo by any means.  I still use low and high beam from normal globes!

They are great for dull light like overcast days or late dawn/early dusk, or for driving in the tunnel hehehe

The Mars kits for FG might be different but I still don't imagine they would be usable.

If it's pitch black and you're in semi rural areas like me with few street lights, you can drive slowly with them on and make things out fine...but not advisable to use them on the streets.

Just had another set of Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres fitted this week after spending 22,000KM on the previous pair and being very happy with how they performed all the way down to the tread indicators.  245/40/18 for $265ea fitted and balanced.  Highly recommend these tyres to people.  Decent life from them, grip is great and a safe tyre in the wet.

No skids coz traffic and new tyres grip too well anyway :)

So that's 300,000km on the original engine, power steering (did have a minor leak fixed while in for other work), AC, water pump, washer motors, radiator, diff and 200,000 on this turbo.  Me likey.
