I'll get a new measurement for you and pics this weekend as I'm interested to see as well!

edit - doesn't look lower but I haven't had a close check for a while.

Well "this weekend" took a while to roll around but here's the latest pic of the suspension, taken at the end of the WA cruise today:

YYICOed.jpg

Measured it in the garage just now and both hub to guard measurements are 320mm give or take 5mm maybe. This is with about 2/3 a tank and maybe 15kg of work junk in the boot (also spare and a hydraulic jack).

This looks nice but was low enough I had to remove the mud guards, after almost 5 years of ownership! Way too 'scrapey' hahaha. Paint was worn right through in a couple of spots and still has rub marks despite my best hand polishing efforts...but I'll live with it for now. Really need to get into the front bumper on the driver's side and get it sitting straight again, you can see the panel gap is a bit too big on front on shots. Lets nice cool air in I guess :) Decided I like the matte black covering on the foggies required for Racewars enough to leave it on all the time. Can't legally use them anyway...also because racecar (hah!). Paint flaking on radiator...

Come on Rukey...I've been watching this thread all day in anticipation. Not even any comment about the irony of the first pic given that it's the only thing in colour?

Cool pikcha BTW

LOL

I was disappointed with the first one but he's back on form it seems

PS thanks Tab, just messing around with it doing the cutout. Realised after uploading that it is a bit too blue in the original photo (compare to my avatar) but can't be arsed reuploading a more faithful undercoat silver version so ya know...

Today marks my 5 year anniversary with this awesome machine.

As a little birthday and safety measure I've gone in on the group buy for PWR heat exchangers, woo! Now to figure out if we can do this on a DIY day or not, I would like to get the box flushed with a different fluid than transmax Z to see how it goes (hoping to get rid of revs rising/falling 300rpm for first 15-20 mins from cold and in high gears). Would ideally like genuine fluid but might go for some of that stuff jet uses, think it was Gulf Western Syntrans? Anyway research to be done.

SHINY

Also had my rims painted automatically for me. Not bad result but quote uneven comparing front to back.

I call it "Remsa Grey" and it's the latest from Europe.
