Nah I only bought my Polk's from there, not a head unit.

Yep those are US prices so ~$1600 is like $1750.

I assumed your ebay guy elite_electronics was in US.

Nah mate... Melbourne based which is only an hour away from me.

I reckon grab it then if hes got it all in stock.

Things certainly start adding up once you start talking installation and custom sub boxes dont they.. :spit:

No problem Ace, im sealing with screws + glue, then silicone just to make sure on the outside.

I got some thin grey carpet (out of a volvo truck) from work and am dying it black on the weekend.

Heres the progress so far, should be comleted making by tomorrow and carpeted by Saturday or Sunday.

My install is booked for Monday, so not long now.

Its just a 12 inch sub.

The box is actually shorter than anything else on the market, hence the need for the custom job, its just a close up photo.

It sits perfectly into the recessed area snug up at the back of the back seat.

If anyone wants the dimensions to make their own ill post them up shortly.

No need to spend $300 for the audio shop to make one.

This one owes me about 6 hours work and $50 tops (if I bought the wood, which I didnt) so all I spent was on the dye for the carpet and the RCA panel.
