Seems to be a lot worse when you sit idling and go again, doesnt cool after that. Will have to get this fixed before the QLD summer kicks in. Mine did that once, pulled over, restarted and it came back to life.Anyone care to explain what a HIM module is?Possibly... mine did it once too, on a drive from Melbourne to Sydney, after 8 hours of decent speed with windows down the piece of sh*t started working as soon as I got home. Never did it before or after that day, talk about good timing...HIM = Human Interface Module, piece of electronics that controls most things inside the cabin (if not all). KeepLeft Member 240 Member For: 15y 4m 23d Gender: Male Posted 24/09/10 04:17 AM Share Posted 24/09/10 04:17 AM Took my dealer half a day to find the problem. Then they said they need a full day to fix it as the dash has to come out.
Tim Member 142 Member For: 16y 4m 12d Posted 25/09/10 04:54 AM Share Posted 25/09/10 04:54 AM My car is having an AC problem but it is different to the original one described. The dash vents in my Fg is not pumping out any air. I have cycled through the vent controls. When it it is ment to be blowing out the dash it comes out of the windscreen vents and also out of the rear seat vents. My car only haas single zone ACIt did it briefly a week or two ago for a day but then it fixed itself. It doesnt seem to be fixing itself this time.I guess it will have to go back to Ford.
