Guest XR09 Guests Posted 30/08/10 02:29 AM Share Posted 30/08/10 02:29 AM The 5 speed completely sucks.Don't do it. It will hurt now and hurt even more at resale. The 5 speed is a slow changer, quite weak and has a special clunk all of its own to go with the std Ford driveline one. They built the box in the skyline RH9GTR which runs 8's as per their website..After years of development BMS have manufactured the worlds first Jatco 4 Wheel Drive Transmission. The Valvebody for this took 2 years to develop ensuring a perfect application. This trans has a billett servo, modified band adjusters, carbonite front bands plus custom made outputshafts to adapt the RE4RO3A to the Stegea transfer case. We also have a modified clutch drum. These grearbox's can be used in 6cyl Turbo Falcons, Mazda Rotarys, V8 Applications andNissans-virtually anything that has up to 1000 hp @ the tyres. The ZF has its own TCM which NO ONE can modify..Personally I'd rather a box that grabs the next gear hard knowing the frictions aint flaring and prematurely wearing out
