What is the difference between the two? (other than the 9 or so grand cheaper) Are the sedans that much of a better choice? What are your opinions... Yes it has the same engine and transmission but you have to realise that they're different animals, the ute is leaf spring in the rear it's not as smooth as the sedans control blade setup but it's designed for a different purpose and it does it bloody well, the ute is just that a ute. If you don't need a ute and have got the extra $$ buy the sedan and get your big color premium sound screen. The main difference I've noticed in the ute compared to the sedan (not including the missing rear seats and all) is the noise suppression, the ute gets more road noise in the cabin than the sedan does, not a big deal really.I could've bought either one, (and would've been happy with either one) but the ute suits me better for work than the sedan would've and yes, it also saved me money and if past history is anything to go by resale will be a damn site better to.Horses for courses

Dagabond, I think he's asking a genuine question, he's started quite a few topics around the forum lately. He's just trying to decide which to buy, we were all faced with decisions when buying our T's whether they be sedans or utes.
hambo_12 Member 317 Member For: 21y 4m 4d Posted 20/10/03 03:35 AM Author Share Posted 20/10/03 03:35 AM yeah I wasnt complaining about anyone, I just wanted to know the reasoning behind the opinions, as I am deciding what shape to go for. I think I would like the sedan because if the options available, but my price limit is not that high, and I am a ute man anyway. Any more opinions would be very helpful... Either way, they're both rippers! am I right???despite the $9k difference!
