There are other but I've mainly looked for; low ks, good value, pref 6 speed ZF auto, Power and looks, year 04 - 07 I'd be happy with.

So far I'm liking the second one on the list;

2005 FORD FALCON BA Mk II XR6 TURBO - $23,000 [sILVER]

It has everything which I'm looking for except the ZF auto... but if its the real deal and hasn't got any probs then I'd go for it. What should I look out for with this one?

Second choice at present wld b the;

2003 FORD FALCON BA XR6 TURBO - $24,000 [RED]

As its only an 03 model, I'd b pretty pushy in only offering 20k - 21K... mods add to the car but I don't think you can add the cost to the sale. I love RED so this one is very tempting. What should I look out for with this one?

Then there is the stock 2006 [sILVER] and 2007 [WHITE] both with the ZF auto. They would most likely be my choice if I was going for a stock one... white looks the goods yeh and my wife and I would prefer it if I decided to go for a stock XR6 Turbo?

I don't know a heap about Ford xr6 turbos regarding common problems with the auto box's etc but I've heard a little and would like you advice if you don't ming giving it before I go ahead and purchase one.

Cheers

Ezz

white one may be an ex chaser and has no options

both reds are nice but 4spd and the first one as with the silver one are probably too nice for a daily family car shopping center car parks etc.

if you went the silver one find out who's tuned it because 345rwkw is a lot for a 4spd box to take but being in frankston hopefully it's done by pitlane performance wich is a good start

I definately would not buy a modified car from a car dealer

Cheers for the advice mate...

What do you mean by ex chaser? Cop Car?

My suspicions exactly with the 4 speed auto. I have heard they are renouwn for packing it in. Something to do with the radiator leaking into the transmission as lines cross over? Also, I have heard that it's better if you do have a 4 speed auto, to get a tranny cooler installed... especially if you mod it for big kws. Do you think the Red one os 'safer to say' not too powerful for the 4 speed auto box and that it is probably the limit?

Cheers again for your help ;)

the red would be close to it's limit but all depends on who's done the work the 4spds are ok IF the tuner really knows how to set them up.

white one really does look ex cop

I'm in NSW don't know how much price varies between states but I picked up a 12/05 built BF so one of the first but it has the 6spd auto full leather premium sound with large coulor screen and sub 69,000kms all stock for 20k even at a local luxury car dealer who had no idea what to do with a ford turbo .

So just look hard .

And these are only my opinions please don't pick one or the other only on my advice .

but your in the right place some of the other guys might help out later :spit:

My 2c would be to go with the neatest bf you can afford and let the mods come later, a stock bf will still eat a 250rwkw 4speed and are just better quality and finish.

345 is too much power for a btr 4 spd.

get a bf and keep it under 375rwkw. should be enough anyways...

A 200 rwkw BF will beat a 250rwkw BA??? Did you mean to write that?
