apparently no more falcons ... by what big ford (american) bosses are saying, although the aussies are fighting to keep it coz its an aussie icon ..

only what I read in a magazine though.

Huh? No more in five-ten years time maybe.

I'm guessing there'll be a major update very soon to coincide with the new blown eight going by the amount of discounting happening at the moment. NFI if it'll be a "mkII" or not though. Hope not for the sake of resale value if nothing else.

I expect the Sydney motorshow will have the FG2, as Ford have a HUGE stand this year

am guessing that if they do have an FG 'upgrade' it might have:

1. touchscreen colour screen to control stereo?

2. delete the blue rings around the speedo and tacho

3. include door mirror indicators

4. slight improvement in economy, which I think came with the Euro IV update a couple of months ago?

I dont know about a FGII however when I picked up my FG on 30th Aug the salesman told us there will no longer be the straight 6 - rather a V - and the addition of a XR4T. I doubt they would put changes like that under the same model - even as an additional series.
