Unlike a manual box that has mechanical gears that lock together, an automatic relies on diferent combination of clutches and bands to give the desired gear ratio, these clutch's and bands rely on oil pressure to keep them applied, no oil or pressure and it will slip

no worries mate, but I would not expect a tuning issue to cause the problems you are having unless they shift pattern has been altered and stuffed up, most tuners do not alter the shift patterns though.

no I think the shift pressures were up'd in the standard box when it was tuned last time, and now with a bigger oil pump in this box my thoughts were that there is to much pressure now, hope that makes sense

I dont think its that maybe the pump itself is damaged.

I can see what you mean, but don't think it is possible, but hey I'm not a trans expert, there should be no pressure in the box to cause the oil to come from the breather unless there is a faulty seal or ring internally allowing pressure to build up in the case, if it was a combination of high oil pump pressure as well as controlled pressure the shifts would be that hard that your neck would just about break, well maybe not that bad, but you get my point. Happy to be proven wrong though so you get you car going again.

get your tuner to load all factory settings back into the tune, refill your gearbox and see if it does it again.
