I've read the how to on diff oil but am wondering what everyone uses and recommends for engine and diff oils. Looking at using "Royal Purple" oils as only heard good things about it. car is a 09 FG F6 ute with 39,000km. not worried about prices really as I don't do that many KM's and you pay for what you get!

I use the Nulon diff oil cause it already has the additive. Read the manual carefully for quantities as there are 3 different diffs. Do a search in the forums ref engine oils.

Hey Guys

I use Penrite 10W70 full synthetic in the engine and never had a problem with it. Read a test once saying Royal Purple was the best but $$$ and Penrite Sin came 2nd.

Will be looking for a full synthetic for the diff soon...

Cheers,

Chris

Had a search and everyone says to run 10w50. royal purple only comes in 10w40 or 20w50. will that be alright or should I just go for another brand with 10w50?

Should be alright, I run 10w40 in the eng but everyone has their own opinions on it. As stated above with the diff dont overfill it.
