Haven't been around for a while, but if IIRC the bolts come loose due to going over the normal 6-6500rpm limit the motor was designed around. The extra vibration gets them to wiggle around.

I think a few people have used a low grade thread locker that fills the small gap between bolt and crank threads.

Someone else will come along with first hand experience though
