I find it interesting that some of the best drivers (Trumpy for example) and some of the quickest cars (DynoSteve for another) are HgAg drivers. :o Also interesting that Ford have chosen HgAg as their "flagship" colour. A friend went to the car show and bought back a Falcon "expression of interest" card, and guess what colour XR6 graces the front? ... Give Up?HgAg! :o Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7006-falcon-xr6t-review-from-america/page/3/#findComment-58797 Share on other sites

Guest HocuSChrisT Guests Posted 23/10/03 03:19 AM Share Posted 23/10/03 03:19 AM The 3,735 lb. Falcon sedan is powered by a turbocharged, twin-cam, inline six-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Good for 322 hp @ 5,250 rpm and 332 lb-ft of torque (available from 2,000 to 4,500 rpm), the Falcon is capable of reaching 62 mph from a standstill in a claimed 6.2 seconds. And in the Australian mileage tests it returns 20.5 mpg city/27.7 mpg highway. Impressive numbers for so large and powerful a car.Less fuel used in the city, I don't get that, evrything really is backwards over there! Can someone convert that fuel consumption figure? Miles and gallons is a bit before my time. there's 1600m approx to the Mile, (1/4mile = 400m)and there's 4.66L approx to the gallon. (1x44g drum = 205L)I'm pretty sure, tis been a while20.5 mpg city/27.7 mpg highwayso 32,800m for every 4.66L in the city approx?and 44,320m for every 4.65L on the highway approx?
