Say it somehow locked up everything it wouldnt be nice for the engine to have a sudden stop. Plus why ruin your gearbox you could rebuild aswell over time and have a spare or sell it.

mines on the way to loosing 3rd now the changes are getting really sloppy!! my workshop in 50km away too but a tranny specialist is 400km away :(

Thanks all the same Sam. As yours isn't completely destroyed may be worth getting a quote to rebuild? If u fit another stock 4 spd, 310rwkw will spit that one out too in not too long I would think... not to mention you wont know what kinda internal condition its in being a used box.

Give Bailey Automatics a call they are in Balcatta, have standard rebuilds and strengthened 4 speeds too, or bite the bullet and do what I did...C4 :stirthepot:

its not destroyed... yet....

C1 clutch pack is on its way out the door and it slips in 2nd gear... and I know!!! :( I dont even give it hard time!!

was an ex company car though!
