only way it can be turned off is through the tune.

but then trying to turn it off might affect how the car reacts with the rest of the tune.

Although not turning the system off as in turning the light to come on, I guess in the tune you could raise the paremeters to stop it from working, but I would not actually do that for a customer because as a tuner you could possibly leave yourself open to legal action in the case of an accident caused by wheelspin and the drivers claims not to know anything about the adjustment to stop the traction control from working

Just tell your mate to get into the habit of switching it off everytime he starts the car. I did, it only takes a week or so to get used to doing it.

His BA will thank him for it.

And yes Benji, BA T/C is pretty ordinary to say the least. :lurvedealer:
