sure you would get heat soak from the block, but the ambient temp under the bonnet would be stinking hot so the inlet maniford would be too hot to touch on a hard run even with one of these installed.

unless you could wrap the intake manifold in some sort of insulation...

Yeah down country on the mountains, but hell!, its winter! - keeps the snow bunnys happy, except the 1000+ people who got trapped up there in 200+kmph winds on Thursday :icon_ford:

yeah I am will Rhino, very logical, heak soak from an engine is going to be much higher than ambient temp(that is engine bay), and further simple ideas are often the best,cheers
