You didn't happen to notice the 'unusual' configuration of his rear Tyre setup did you?

- It will be interesting to see what the organisers have to say about it!

Didn't notice it! :)

As mentioned in the article, they will be pushing the World Time Attack rules to the limit with 800hp, near 50/50 weight distribition with radiator and oil tank behind the seat in a much lighter body this time, closer to 1,000kg than 1,500kg. Sounds like they learned a lot from the rush last year and are getting it right this year. Can't wait to see it out there.

I'll be circulating Eastern Creek in my 60/40 weight distribution 1,800kg beast on June 23rd (just about 20sec/lap slower!)

If you look at the Wheels in the Photos, they are set up as 'dual' Wheels!

He told me a while back he was going to have 'two' working together on each side at the rear!

I believe his lack of traction last time has had a bearing on this decision!

Should be interesting...

I remember cringing when I watched Fernandez last year as he tip toed the falcon around the track because of his huge power and no traction. That ute looks crazy and if it is true what they claim that it will be close to 1000kg then everyone will start chasing the lowest weight rather than the highest power that we are used to seeing. I just hope they get it dialed in time as this is a pretty unique setup which has the chance to get everyone's attention on the Barra six tuning scene. They reckon the JDM guys will start swapping barra sixs into their Silvias, Skylines etc once all the Japanese engines dry up.

He's got it right though!

The real Killer with these Cars at the Track is weight!

So long as he gets the Power/Weight ratio right, he will get in and out of the Corners so much faster...

And be able to brake 'much' later!
