Hi Nigel,

Where did you get this oil catch can for the diff?

Something like this?

They are all quite similar mate!

I got mine from 'Just Jap'at Kirrawee.

The Key is to get about 1.5 m of Hose and turn it in progressive Circles as high above the Diff Breather as possible!

- Then dump it into a Catch Can in the Boot!

If you don't get it high enough, the Can will fill quickly (Has a siphoning effect)and overflow through the Filter on the Catch Can!

I have my Mechanic working out where to install a Diff Cooler!

- I have been led to believe this is a good thing for the problem!

- They start throwing the Oil when it starts getting really hot!

Time will tell!

Yeah my diff is not shy when it comes to sharing some oil... But hey its a ford leaking oil is what they do...

I will be interested to see what solutions you people come up with.... My mechanic suggested doing similar to what you said Nigel, with the catch can in the boot. I have this fear of the car smelling like oil...

So I had a call from the suspension shop advising me all my gear has arrived. Can't wIt to go pick it up.

Will post up some pics and info when I start piecing it together.

Further It looks like I have found myself a full set of brembo calipers to throw on with the new rotors and pads to follow. I have also been looking at how I'm going to rout the ducting from the front bar to the brake rotors but I have a few neat ideas about how to do that. Also looking at incorporating them into the new front undertray I'm designing (pics to follow soon). Also designing a new center section deleting the mid muffler and cat from my x-force exhaust. Working on a thermostat controlled oil cooler kit that will be mounted behind the left hand fog light (I don't currently have them fitted) and the right fog light position is currently setup as a cai ram air to the airbox. Also in the process of picking the new seats that will replace the factory ones long term so they must be comfortable aswell as functional and ADR approved. Will also in the next couple of weeks be fitting up a brand new set of R1R toyo tyres so we can start dialing in the new suspension package.

Aside from that I have been flat out at work so havnt had a chance to look at the hard cover, diff cooler/ catch can ideas yet or what other weight saving is possible.

Until next time cheers Adam

Ok so some of the new parts have arrived. Currently in the process of fitting

Pedders ute coil over kit

Replaced every single bush with urethane

Whiteline/ Pedders rear sway bar to go with the currently fitted front

Pedders camber castor alignment kit (they have 3, the one being fitted is said to be the strongest aswell as have the biggest range of adjustment.

Will post up some progress pics when I get 5 mins.

Before they go on: Is there a choice to go stiffer with the Pedders spring rates on the coilovers and to (if possible and if budget allows) revalve the shock absorbers to match?

There is the option to go stiffer and revalve the coilovers if necessary though initially going to try the current spring rates and see how they go and if I feel the need to be heavier than it's only a 5 min job to have them out and back over to Pedders.
