In biloela (CQ) we have had a pretty reasonable winter it has been like 2 or 3 the last few mornings but only gone into the negatives a few times this winter :surrenderwave:

FNQers have it made for winter. Was up in Cairns for a week and the minimum never went below 18. Following weekend down at Stanthorpe and was waking up to -3 and a frost, with my cajones shrivelling up like raisins. And to think we used to go to school in shorts in that weather cos no one wanted to wear the gay grey pants.

You would think so but I tend to look at the negatives of winter.

Every cashed up mexican nomad heads north for the winter clogging our roads.

The backpackers start to wear tops at the beach

Maybe I'm just bitter because my car is dead so I can't take advantage of the cooler temps

Oh shyte, listen to the pissing and moaning of you QLD'ers!!! I feel really sorry for you and 20 something degree days. :turboboink:

Try living in this dump! We had our hottest day of the month today and it was 13 phucking degrees!!

Our average morning temp for the last 3 months is -1 .... AVERAGE...!

Try doing a couple of weeks where every morning is -3, -4, -5 and frost you can ski on.

Why do I live in this place..... :surrenderwave:

Hi mate I am not coplaining I love it where I live in qld that is stanthorpe our temps almost mirror your act temps.

People dont believe qld gets that cold but we do here because we are inland ans are 900 meters above sea level.
