The all round refinement of the FG is good with the different front end suspension,the doors sitting under the roofline,the lower dash positon etc but.......They dont look as good lowered as a BA BF. They still cant bring out a descent wheel either unfortunately. If you can afford to upgrade to an FG,go for it. But say you got 18g for your BA and the FG was 34g....you could easily do an auto and mods to suit 300-350rwkw safely in the BA for 16g.If you buy an FG and mod it their most likely goes your warranty ,which is one thing people feel more secure about when buying a new car.I have been down this path and couldnt part with my BA even though the brand new FG XR6T was only 37g drive away with employee pricing. And now I smoke standard FGTs.In saying all that,better to offload the BA before you spend money on modding it otherwise you will lose more money. My 2 cents.
