It's constructive critism from a photography point of view which I'm sure he'll take on board since he's keen to learn. Everyone can always learn something new regardless of skill level. No doubt it was a good night, but that's got nothing to do with the quality of the photos. Would have been better if the blue GT had all his windows up Just like to say big thanks to 4DZILR for organising this and putting in the effort on the night. It was a great night, for me anyway, topped off by the best hot dog I've had by a mile (Harry's Cafe de Wheels). Here's hoping the next photoshoot is before I sell my blue beauty (probably October).Looking forward to the rest of the photos.

So much so that I thought some were taken with a mobile phone at first. Use a tripod and lower the ISO right down.- There's colour fringing around the trees in the first shot.- The colours overall don't look right in all the shots.I'd work on getting the colour, noise and sharpness issues sorted first. Then you can experiment with different processing techniques.Hey mate,Yeah there is alot of noise in the photos. Mind you, I am still learning the art of photography. I think if I didnt have the ISO that high, it wouldnt of been that good a photo. Where we went, the light under the bridge was out. Which meant, it was pitch black. So there was no light at all.. Needless to say, my camera didn't help. I got a Nikon D800 I believe.. Cant remember off the top of my head I am pretty happy with them to be honest.... yeah it isnt full professional and someday I reckon I could be a good photographer but with what we had, Im happy Appreciate your input mate.. Next one is gunna be better! promise! Edited 10/08/10 10:26 PM by 4DZILR

Raising the ISO allows more light to be captured for the shutter speed that's been set. So if you lower the ISO you will need to have a longer shutter speed to get the same exposure.Your shutter speed shouldn't be a concern since you'd be using a tripod and the subjects are stationary in this type of photography. So use the lowest ISO possible and just have a longer shutter speed. The results will be much cleaner photos.

Thanks Adam!No worries.Keep in mind though that if you're using a metered exposure then you'll probably be limited to 30 seconds on the shutter speed.
