Hi guys I have a ba xr6t on custom 10psi tune with injectors zorst and monza fronty and I was wondering if I get rid of the crossover and just replace it with the process west crossover off the throttle body and 2 1/2 inch piping to the standard piping underbattery and then just run 3 inch off the turbo back to the same place its meant to sit should I need a retune also will it cause boost spike cheers ..LAT45

FYI, I'm running 370rwkw @ 17psi on stock F6 bottom end still using the stock crossover. Unless you want it tidied up for looks, you don't really need to change it.

Boost shouldn't be an issue but as always, better to get it on the dyno than to take a chance.

I replaced my crossover and under battery pipe on the standard tune and my boost readings didnt change at all... I dont think they are worth the effort :icon_ford:

long 2.25" pipe runs and a restrictive cooler are the problems, so if your retaining the factory pipes, I would leave the crossover as is.... even though it flattens out, it doesnt reduce area....

and even though the UBP changes shape, it also doesnt reduce(I cut it open an measured it) so nothing really to be gained there either....

hope that helps
