There's a few on fleabay for anywhere from 70-130 new, and the part number comes up to a FG flip key. I went to my local Ford dealer here in Perth and they said the key won't code to my car, and I'd have to get a transponder out of a new BF key blank and the door remote guts out of a BF remote and transplant them into the FG shell as the FG internals won't work at all with the BF.So many conflicting stories- and also as an aside, I went to Mr Minit key cutting who said they charge $170 for one standard key, but and program!! They charge another $50 for a standard seperate remote which is actually not too bad, but overall seems alot!He also said that he would charge $50 just to cut a key and wouldn't program a key that he didn't sell.I'm bit stuck as my car only came with one key when I bought it so can't do the diy programming....Has anyone successfully coded a flip to their early BF? Suggestions as to where to get one?

The BF ones work no problem apparently so I have bought one and we'll see what happens. Just have to stump up for Ford's exorbitant reprogramming charges- and find a key cutter who is half way reasonable. Thanks for the help.
