Posted 21/10/03 08:55 AM Author Share Posted 21/10/03 08:55 AM g'day boys and girls,im new to this so be easy on me... I would like to hear your opinions on modifying the GT and how would you go about it?thanks, chris Hi Chris,Welcome to the site. If I get any mods done it will be by Rob Herrod, I am lusting after his Zorst exhaust mod (the note ......the note!! ) but he ain't cheap, but you get to keep your warranty. And maybe his lowering kit. These are for starters :banghead:

Venom XR6 Member 1,460 Member For: 21y 9m 25d Location: Geelong Victoria Posted 21/10/03 09:15 AM Share Posted 21/10/03 09:15 AM When I trade my XR8 on a series 2 GT I plan to get the full Herrod exhaust, use the twin cold air intake system with K&N filter that I currently have on my XR8, a set of underdrive pulleys from Battens Performance and a full tune with a Unichip. Should be good for about 330-350kw depending on what the series 2 makes standard and the noise it will make with the exhaust should be sensational. The 12 month wait for the series 2 is going to kill me though.

BADXR8 Member 37 Member For: 21y 5m 10d Posted 21/10/03 12:36 PM Share Posted 21/10/03 12:36 PM Hi there. Though I'd drop a line. I've been checking out this website way before I got my XR8 in Sep 03. Great site it is, always enjoy it. What I would like to say is that the XR8 is an awesome machine, the main reason behind that is because it has a Herrod exhaust system. Prior to the exhaust I thought it was quite ordinary (performance wise). Can anyone out there let me know where I can get the induction system for it ? Thanks, and it's good to be back in a Ford again !
