BA55Y Member 74 Member For: 14y 11m 24d Posted 05/08/10 12:41 PM Author Share Posted 05/08/10 12:41 PM Thanks heaps for all the replys guys, was amazed when I saw how much advise was being offered one day later lol.Would any mechanics be able to check for codes?After reading all your sugguestions I think im gonna start with buying some throttle body cleaner and doing TB clean, I did the boost solenoid maintenance just last weekend and the car definantly is running better aside from the idle issue.I think if I have no success with the cleaning the throttle body ill move on to looking at replacing the TPS unit and the coil pack.Is there anyway to inspect the coil pack for signs that it may be the problem? I think I read once that when the coils are stuffed you can see cracks or something in the coil pack?Id problem look at replacing the TPS sensor first though unless there was noticeable damage on the coils as the TPS sensor is bout a $200 dollar cheaper gamble at a fix for the problem.Its kind of good to know im not alone with this problem and there has been other people who have had this, fingers crossed a good throttle body cleaning will fix this issue up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
