I hear that the cv can be a pricey job, not sure if it would be easy to fix at home, Im thinking it may be the diff which went bang as if it was a CV you would probably get drive to the other wheel. Ive had a couple of mates who have wrecked the diff on their cars. Its a couple of grand to fix via ford. Which model car and is it still under warranty?

BTW gramma lol :spoton:

Hmmmm first Brad breaks my old car now you!!! LOL jk, talk to Brad if you can he had to replace a CV once but like Benji said it might be the diff. Even when I blew the old gearbox up it still had drive in a number of gears so no drive at all seems a little more serious.

Hope it isnt though

Good luck

to replace CVs you have to drop the whole diff....its a day job. If you do one side you may as well do the other side. You pay mostley for labour. Ask SENNA for prices on CVs.

Unless you want to pay out the ass for billet CVs which I doubt you will need.

Yes, no need to drop the diff.

I know one of the guys here has changed one at the track (he had previous experience at it, and had a spare).

wow I must be off the ball...

Why do mechanics charge 800$?!

Might as well just change mine before they decide to go bang on the track!!!
