Good on you Brendan. I did Brisbane to Perth/ Monkey Mia in Feb and it is a great drive (13500klms). Great pics too, it's a nice part of the world, but the thing that worries me every time I see one of your pics is that you aren't running a car bra. It saved the front of mine on our trip on numerous occasions. The run from Perth to Kalgoorlie is a good one, but you have to watch out for highway patrols.... got nabbed doing 128.... still reckon it was a bit more than that... but he let me off!! Wanted to know if I had any excuse for speeding except for wanting to try out my new XR6T and suggested that I use my cruise. I don't think at that stage there were too many XR's in WA judging by the looks we got when we were over there and all of the offers for driveway service!!

Safe trip the rest of the way home.

Al.

Thanks axw01...

Guys,

Well. We survived the run across the Nullarbor to Eucla, Ceduna, Port Augusta to Clare to Mt Barker (over about a week or so). Then on to Swan Hill (where I am now.)

Had a great trip. Have covered 19,000km so far. We have the final leg of the trip tomorrow where we make the final 300Km run home...

The car has been fantastic!. Slight tail wind from the west helped...

As for the car bra AXW01.. We did well. We got a bunch a grass hoppers etc after Norseman but no major stone chips.

I must say that the paint on the bumpers on the BA is much much better than the AUII XR6 (venom) I had.. It we real thin. Where as the BA seems to be nice and thick. I do not seem to have any stone chips on it. Only a few on the bonet. but you get that..

Oh by thye way. I found a great way to get the bugs out of the inter cooler / front of the car.. Park the car in the van park at Eucla and let the gagle of geese eat them out... They did a top job.. Saved me heaps of time....

I will take a few pics and post a few more when I get home in a few days...

Talk / type soon...

Regards

Brendan
