Hey guys looking at selling my ute or trading it on an evo 7 or a 33gtr but unsure if my asking price is realistic.

If you follow the link below you will see where I have posted It for sale on another site but just wanted to be sure I'm not dreaming in regards to the price

2006 Xr6 Turbo Ute - Skylines Australia

Any help will be much appreciated

Cheers adam

I think that's well priced. 30k and you get 380rwkw reliable right there for you. No more to do!

Good model, great motor, awesome mods! Cheap I recon!

Jump on carsales.com.au , look for 06 ute with the stronger motor, mild mods (not as many as yours) and they go for like 28k-32k.

yours is a steal!

That's what I was hoping was the case mate. Really didn't wanna price myself out of the market as I'm pretty keen to move onto a more track orientated car. I mean as you would have seen the price is also neg too so hopefully some one will snap it up. Might post is up on this forum tonight and see how things go

Cheers adam

Dont no how it is over there but here you dont get the money for mods. Here youd sell it for more stock std than modded. Goodluck, GTR would be very fun.

Usually, you wont get extra for mods here either. I reckon it is priced a touch high, unlesss you happen to luck upon a buyer who is looking for a manual ute with the idea of modding it just like you have, you wont get the extra for all of the $$ you have spent on modding.

I sold my ripcurl ute 12 months ago. It was a Bionic BF2 manual with 40,000klm on it. Had the same textralia clutch as yours, a full exhaust, the same gauges, and some PW goodies on it ( stage 2 cooler). I eventually sold it for $28K. It was making less power than yours but I dont think it would have sold for more if it made another 40RWKW.

Have you considerd removing the mods, selling the car as stock and selling the bolt ons seperately?

If you can be bothered and have the skills to take a lot of the bolt on stuff off yourself, I think it would be the best way of getting the max amount for the ute. The only reason I didn't go this path was that I didn't have the stock exhaust, and taking the rest of the mods off without taking it off would have left someone with a ticking time bomb!

Personally, I reckon that unless you happen to come across the right buyer who wants all of those mods anyway, you will have better luck selling it as a stock car IMO and the bolt ons you could sell on here quite easily. I am already eyeing off about half of them! :innocent:

perfect colour.. highiest quality parts on it an im a assuming tuned by a very good tuner too?

an also manual as I would be looking for too! so good luck with your sale an im actualy certain you'd get more hey but I guess buyers cant justify it though

thanks guys.. im kinda half relying on someone partially trading a car that I want though that too may not happen. I dont have the stock parts anymore and really if I remove 1 I will have to remove them all as with most of these mods one will not function properly without the other. for the time being I will leave the price as is and see how things flow. I mean really I am negotiable on brice by a fair margin so if someone throws me an offer then they might just be surprised

Anyone else with any input or perspective. Or even interested parties before I post it in the classifieds section?
