Ive been chatting with a few lads about the sound differences between the 3.5 vs the dual 2.5 inch, has anyone heard the 2 systems side by side? if so which one sounded better?

Mate the twin system is quiet, deep idle but still fairly quiet factory sound, which is great if you want stock sound but alot more flow.

the 3.5in is fairly quiet too but is a more louder on full throt/boost... changing the rear muffler for a straight through free's the exhaust up alot more and can sound pretty horn... but louder.

I'm at the same point regarding keeping my mild steel 2x2.5 and modifying the mufflers or going for a full stainless 2x2.5 system from xforce :icon_ford:

I did notice they are offereing a 2x3inch inlet and oulet (or 2x2.5 outlet) varex muffler which could be a great start for designing a new system :w00t2:
