Does anyone think that the 160F thermostat is to cold (Works out to be about 72degrees)?I know alot of other ppl are running the 82degree tstat but I spoke to the tuner and he recommended the 160F. I did read up that they are to cold in one thread but I would like to be sure about it. It appears that the 82degree tstat is ok if u arent planning on tuning coz its within the ecu operating temps.. The 72degree tstat is ok when getting a custom tune because the tuner will tune out the warm up mode and adjust the fan settings, apparently it will gain better mid range power as there wont be as much heat soak so the timing can be played with abit more safely . I dont know how accurate this is but it kinda makes sense.
