I think I am gunna get some semi slick tires for the back just gotta find out what I can get. turbo ute79 Member 376 Member For: 16y 5m 9d Gender: Male Location: gladstone qld Posted 23/10/10 10:10 AM Author Share Posted 23/10/10 10:10 AM took ute to the strip last night for a bit of fun. ute was in full street trim year old maxxis tires and all. ended up running a best of 13.4 at 119 mph. had MAJOR traction problems. raced a mate with a twin turbo maloo when I ran the 13.4 and he was within a few hundredths and 1 mph of my time with basically the same power, gearbox and street tires. was hopin to get into the 12s in street trim however gettin of the line cleanly and gettin the power to the track is rather difficult with not a lot of difference between hooking up and turning the tires. still had a heap of fun and cannot wait til next time. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
