yeah my new FG 07/10 build has plastic end tanks.. the cat has changed because of the euro 4 emissions.. I have already changed the cooler for a process west stage 2 looks alot better lol..

Dude you obviously have no idea what your on about, the smaller turbo was a brilliant idea, stock for stock the FG beats the he'll out of the Ba Bf 270's and they have more torque, come to think of it a stock FG is on par with a 300rwkw earlier model plenty are running into the 12's unmodified

Thought this was interesting... pics stolen from AFF showing the plastic and alloy coolers side by side.

Also putting the plastic one and the alloy one side by side, the alloy one is about 7mm thicker in the core than the plastic one and the plastic one is about 4x lighter.....
