Nolathan do a kit for the side one's, there sort of a sleeve style kit whereas the bushes come in and meet from each side male/female style. You could I guess supply these to the ford mechanic at the time that you are having the main diff bush done and ask them to also fit them! You may just be up for the additional labour!

Anyone got theirs replaced under warranty yet?

My FG XR6T (manual, 23,000 on the clock) is at Ford as I write (for some warranty work). I told them about the noise and they were all over it - rear diff bushes I was told, and they are going to do it under warranty. Low and behold, im serching around on here and stumble across this thread...

Im going to drop in before work tomorrow and quote them the part number for the new bushes (special thanks to those who dug it up!). If im having my back end pulled off, I want to make sure these new magical bushes keep it running smooth and quiet for more than 23,000km!!

Just dropped into Ford and had a quick chat with them about the new Diff Bushes. I gave them the new part number and they had a look at their work sheet which already had it listed! So looks like at least some dealers are now using on the new (revised) bushes.

They new the problem and even offered a quick 'yeah, the old ones wernt strong enough and cracked too easily'.

Needless to say, im impressed with their service and honesty.

Cant wait to get the car back!

Care feels better now the work has been done.

However, im still getting a clunking form the gerabox when coming off the clutch in 1st to 3rd - any ideas out there what that is?

Just got all three replaced under warranty at 45,000km. Roads were pretty tragic this arvo given our current weather but has made a massive difference. :turboboink:
