Ok cool what your saying is bang on! The ID1000's are an unmodified bosch EV14 but I'm lead to believe they are simply purchased in bulk and matched on flow and deadtimes. A while back five-O-motorsports started custom "milling" the EV-14's for more flow however they're now on-selling unmodified bosch items I believe. I'd say that the other companies such as xspurt are simply doing the same and just on-selling bosch injectors that have been purchased in bulk as bosch literally have heaps of EV14's with different flow characteristics!

So yeah you're on the right track by getting the numbers to untangle this mess!! Good stuff.

Hi Ratter,

Best person for you to speak to is either Simon at InjectorsOnline.com or Mark from Godzilla Motorsport. They are credited to owning the brand XSPURT.

These individuals were the ones to be proactive in establishing what is done by INJECTOR DYNAMICS with their range of Bosch injectors.

I have not promoted them as a new beaut item, I believe they are simply equivelent to them but are able to be sourced locally without having to worry about the fluctuating Australian / US dollar.

Cant help you out with stock and product codes, apologies ratter. I have nil in stock and my car with a set on them is currently at 6boost. I can chase it up if you have no luck.

Actually I was holding a set of those Ev14's from Injector's Online the other day. If you can't get the number for these shoot me a PM. Its the type of 'matching' that Injector Dynamics do that seperate them from the rest. They also provide scaling data for the ford ECU, although it's not right for the Aussie ECU and without increasing the deadtime values over their figures, the low slope ends up at 90lb, which makes no sense when the high slope is a little over 110lb.

This might help EV_14.pdf.

There are more now, and Bosch state there are over 200 variants.

I think you will find the Injector Dynamics version of EV14's are indeed modified, not milled.

I believe they have their own metering plate installed, do not take this as gospel. I can tell you that

from what part number remains, they are not Motorsport, for sure. They may even be manufactured by Bosch for Injector Dynamics, who knows.

No apology needed ratter.

Will get those numbers for you tomorrow.

Cheers for the link too EGO. Answered a few questions of my own. :spoton:

From what I had been lead to believe, the XSPURT range were coming from the same supplier as injector dynamics. As I am unable to verify whether this is true or not, id not bothered in making it public knowledge.

I more so thought they were being modified locally to the same specs as the injector dynamics variant of the EV14.
