Dose Pipe Issues..

any pictures with dose pipes with the battery still in place?

4" intakes Flutter, but I think 3" makes the most high pitched noise.

My old dose pipe with batt still in place.

Got all the bits from AB for 60-70 bob, 3" piece of silicon, 3" bend, mushroom style pod filter. just pull the pipe off the front,(the bit of oil in is normal), then slip the 90 deg pipe into the silicon and slip it onto the turbo, once its on, slip the filter on and wella. Lots of noise but saps power on hot days.

would it still make the same sound if it was enclosed in a box. that would also make it legal in queensland?

Theres no room to make a box, to keep it legal in qld just tak a little brace on, mabe to the battery holder bit. That'll be fine.

ahhh so it dosnt have to be enclosed? it just has to be secure? prob no point in doing it though if its going to suck hot air in

Hence why I replaced my dose pipe with a 4 inch intake and box, massive difference in power. The dose is now for special occasions where heat is not a issue

if you use a silicon bend you can fit a pull size pod

I used the battery box and made a lid for it and had a hole in the bottom that had air fed to it from the spotlight hole
