Hey guys,

Yet another dose pipe thread for you to all flame the sh!t out of.. :P

So, This morning after staying up last night and reading all the dose pipe threads I thought I'd get onto it.

Blocked of my vac which runs from the manifold to the BOV.. Peeeeerrrfect..We have dose, Kinda.

Go down to SCA and bought some 3" 90degree pipe, Get it home and do u think I could fit it between the turbro and the power steering res? Nope..

Back of down to SCA and refunded that sh!t.. Got a smaller one, In length.. Still don't fit.

Whats everyone using? and where did you get it? I'm not to interested in spending alot of cash for the dosage to happen, so spending $90 at an exhaust shop on a peice of pipe, meh feck that. $17 at SCA on clearance FTMFW.. As its not staying on permanently, just for sh!ts and giggles.. :msm:

Also, when I took the inlet pipe off the front of the turbo there was a fair bit of oil, I presume its blow back?? and is this a bad thing or nothing to worry about?

Looking forward to your replies..

Cheers

Rob

The silicon bend? I was just using the rubber adaptor that the standard intake slides into and it sits on the mouth of the turbo.

Hmm, went to autobarn this arvo and they had sweet fa to.. Cept for those plastic chrome $20 lookin things, Alloy dose pipe is a winnah! lol

youll struggle to get a 3" bend that has a radius that small, itll be a sh*t load easier using a silicone bend straight off the turbo, and a filter off that...

I bought a silicone hose from supercheap 3" one end and 2 1/2" the other, the 3" I put on the turbo the other end went into a pod filter, I bought those chair stopper things from bunnings and took the blow off valve off completely. f*ck auto barn supercheaps got all hoses of all sizes and combos but bit expensive cost me like $70 for the pipe and $16 for the pod, sounds good but.

I made up a intake with some of the stock black plastic from the factory pipe from front of turbo to the cross over and a silcone bend....but atm have a alloy one on there that I made as crazy spool and flutter not really vl dose though...if you want sweet turkey dose get some 3inch pvc bends....also intercooler and piping plays alot with it...
