Not sure if this has been posted else where but if it has please direct.1. Are wheel spacers legal in all states? some states? no states?2. Can wheel spacers be used to change the stud patern of a vehicle?3. What are the other options if any when it comes to changing the stud pattern?Any help or a push in the right direction would be much appreciatedCheers,Matt

For example, See HereH&R do them to suit Nissans (5x114.3) so they can mount BMW (5x120) and Porsche (5x130) wheels. You really have to be mindful of offset when you do this. You may have to go custom made. And I don't think they're legal in any state? I'm sure someone will confirm.

I want a set of dark (grey or black matte or satin) rims with a big offset (fill the rears of an FG) and need to clear bremobos, any suggestions welcome...Matt

But you need to get it engineered if moving to an offset bigger than +26mm as you can't change your wheel track by more than 25mm...

Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 18d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 18/07/10 10:50 AM Share Posted 18/07/10 10:50 AM I think you will find that spacers are illegal across Australia. They are dangerous and are illegal for a reason. I am sure you can find a wheel to suit that does not endanger your life.
