I will vote Lib this time around. I don't support all their policies, eg paid parental leave, but on the whole I think they are a safer bet. It seems we need to cycle through labor and libs, one to build stuff and spend money, then the next to pay for it. Only problem is K Rudd stuffed up everything he tried to do, and now we have to pay for it.

It really annoys me when pollies measure the worth of their policies on how much they cost, "We spent X billion on education" and dont worry if all that money achieved anything.

We really need a new party that is capable of looking at whats best for the country and doing that, rather then looking at whats best for the front page of the paper.

here's one. You get what you pay for!

The PM of this country is paid at basically a senior managers salary in a large private enterprise company, yet have the responsibility of running a country it's economy, social services, infrastructure etc etc

Pay peanuts and monkey say monkey do. nuff said

I dare say that there are members of this very forum who earn more than the PM

gillard said on the today program today that because off the labor goverment we are out off the recession what a load off crap.

if she really thinks that then she is dumber than she looks.

She needs to get her head out off the clouds and go out into the real world and dare I say into the country and have a look at the way buisnesses in the real world are struggleing.

Umeployment is rising and people are starting to stop spending moneyy big time the recession is strating to hit now and hit hard.

There is no more money to throw at it because of the waste of this goverment.
