If they get back in they are stuffed too.

After another term in office even the biggest dik wouldn't vote them back in for at least 15 years. :stirthepot:

Hahahaha, you've got to be kidding me right? Look at NSW Labor! They just keep getting voted in by the same people who will vote this Labor government in on Saturday. You don't actually think that people are educated do you?

Like I said in a previous quote, the closet Laborer's will be out in force on Saturday. This one will come down to the wire.

Hopefully after the election, her ears will still have a job as a white board.

1 Work choices was a policy that was to promote small business. I feel it was more about allowing business owners to exploit staff. If your ten years were up as an employee you could be sacked, therefore employer did not have to pay long serve leave.

You are kidding right ???

Workchoices had NOTHING to do with that sort of behaviour. This policy was more about allowing small business to hire and fire without moron employees taking them for unfair dismissal at every turn. This policy also allowed people to negotiate enterprise agreements and get benefits that they wanted, like less holidays and more money. Labor did not like this, because the unions did not like the fact they were shut out of negotiations. For the 7 years we had workchoices, there was no more unemployment, there were no mass sackings. It just stopped bad workers from being able to fight for a job they didn’t deserve. Being a business owner with 15 staff, it meant I could get rid of bad workers, without having to go to court to justify my decisions. No business owner would sack a person who was coming up to long service leave as they would be a good worker if they have been with you that long and you still have to play them out including the LSL as it is acuminated and paid out after 7 years.

The list goes on, but in reality it made lenders nervous (banks) interest rates go up, simple economics.

I think you are taking a far too simple view on the whole situation. Workchoices had nothing to do with interest rates, you will find it was more to do with inflation and the fact we had a booming economy with the Liberals in power. The Reserve Bank decided to slam the brakes on by raising rates, then the GFC made them lower them again.

NBN means big bucks, why hasn't anyone worked out that these costs will be passed onto consumer. You will pay much more, why because you have already been told how much better it will be. The biggest question is why are we losing so many soldiers in Afghanistan, and should they be there. No one is discussing this, Cheers

The NBN is a waste of money. Being the owner of an ISP I would benefit from this network, but I also can see it is a massive waste of money, as we already have a good network in place. What we need to do is break up Telstra and get the last mile and infrastructure back into government hands to level the playing fields.

As for Afghanistan, we have lost 18 troops in 8 years, this seems like a good deal. They join the army to fight in wars, and unfortunately they tend to get killed when people are shooting at them. While I do not agree with us being in Iraq and Afghanistan, we made a huge mess there, we need to stay to clean it up

So heading down the straight.

73% will vote conservative

14% Labor

2 % Greens - they don't even deserve that - but anyway.

3% Ind

8% Donkey - always worries me, but better than voting for someone you don't like anyway. Donkey voters should have no views.

If you put aside the fact that a lot of people have not bothered to register a vote on this forum and that some who voted didn't comment on the forum. You can ascertain that either not many Labor voters drive "blown" Fords, or there is a fairly massive dissatisfaction with the current mob! Personally I don't think the type of car is typical of the political persuasion, so I guess we can put that aside as well.

Let's hope this sort of indication is carried forward tomorrow. Interesting forum guys. Cheers
