Hi,

My Door ajar light stays on, but all doors are shut.

Is on a 03 XR6T.

Problem with this is it will not let me lock the doors.

Have given locks a gud shot of CRC with no change.

Whats the best plan of attack ?????

cheers

My old BA had a bodgy boot, fixed under warrenty... It closed fully, but if you pushed on it, the door light would crack the wobblies. Going over bumps it would lose its sh*t and start beeping at me. f*cked me right off. Nothing worse than doing a skid and all you can hear is beep beep beep beep.

I've had the light stay on before, under warranty Ford cleared error codes and it stopped. No idea what caused it, but that was almost 2 years ago and it's fine since (BFII).

Mine worked fine 100%. Software glitch I'd assume on mine!

If the horn sounds a couple times when you try to lock, then the comp thinks the door is open. Could be a dirty contact in the door lock/switch, or even a loose plug.
