Leather Seat Covers

Havent used them, but did inquire about leather for my BA ute, and they were very helpfull, and quick to

reply.

Ended up getting FG leather ute seats instead.

Ive got them in mine like ej said & I love it especially for the dollars. I originally only got it to see how the colour would look & then change to a genuine leather but im so happy with it its stayin in there. Its nice & soft, easy to clean & doesnt look too bad either. The only downside the bloke that does them (proseats) is a pain to deal with & dont be surprised if they say its gonna be a month & it turns into 3 but for the dollars its worth it.

As for fitting I cant say cause when they eventually turned up I was working away so I just got it done by the local upholstry bloke & he did an awesome job & just said the rear cover where the armrest is needed to be slightly modified but nothing major.

I want quilted seats. Not keen on the colour combo but the design is great.

As for Proseat, I waited about 6 months for mine to turn up. Also got sent the wrong set before my order finally showed up. The guy who you will deal with is a turd. I lost count on how many times he told me they were in the mail and then gave me a phony tracking number.

As John said though, its worth the wait for the little outlay. I got black leather with red stitching. Im fairly certain they are not selling you leather though. I peeled back the trimming to look at back of the "leather" and it clearly comes off of a roll of material. The spiel about it being reprocessed offcuts sounds odd, how do they join all them all back together on a roll? No big deal as it looks the part and is easy to clean. The black is a little shiny but I guess you get what you pay for.

The passengers seat is perfect but I could never get the wrinkles out of the sides of the drivers seat. But then I did do it myself in front of the TV. Getting XR stitched was a pain as Proseat still use the old AU logo and want over $100 to update your logo to the newer shape. I just ended up painting some skirt badges and putting them in.

I probably would do it again for the missus car or something but in my own which I want to be a nice as possible I would go see a Trimmer.

Edit: The armrests were done professionally by a trimmer as there is no way the material they supply will work neatly. You need the stitch down the middle to get it to form the shape correctly. I had a good crack but couldnt live with it and got them done in real leather.
