Has anyone purchased these leather seat covers off ebay before?

These are the type that replace the cloth trim on your seats, and not just slide over your cloth trim.

They look pretty good in the photos, but I'm just wondering if anyone has tried something like this before.. and have good or bad feedback.

Bit of info here but not much.

I was thinking of getting some, I don't have the money for real leather and my cloth needs replacing so why not. Although my side bolster has started to collapse in the drivers seat, anyone know if you can buy new foam through ford or anywhere?

Look good in the Pics and a lot cheaper than custom leathercrybaby.gif around 2k with al the suede etc.

How do they comply with side air bags ?

I had it In my EF XR8... Ended up costing $800 with doors, console cover and handbrake... That was just for the seat covers... I then had to install it! Took me f*ckING AGES!!! And I didn't do it like a pro... Had to pull out the seats at the front... And mess around sh*tloads at rear!

It comes with all of the attachments to feed it through the seat so it fits really flush... I reckon it would take 2 days to do it properly... It's a mother f*cker of a job...

My advice. Keep your cash and be happy, or look for someone who is selling the interior and pay a little bit more! The leather from FORD is MUCH better in terms of it's thickness and quality...

If you are gonna do it, get an installed price if you can... Anything under $500 to install would be worth it IMHO...

I did a post in that link. I was so impressed with them that I'm getting them for my T. My only problem is I want to go something other than black or grey on the interior but having a Toxic car I'd like something to match. Maybe a Creme, or possible a Blue/Grey

Is this the same seller? Leatherseats11?

They quoted me $499 for front and rear including center fold down bit in my BF, with perforated center's and suitable for side airbag seats.

Seems like a good price, they had good feedback and quality looks decent in the photo's.
