I have a 2010 5.9 litre Dodge Challenger in AVIS LA.

Great looking car, gutless for a 5.9 V8, cheap plastic finish, rattly dash at 1600 miles, poor handing, crappy brakes, handling a la Chrysler Valiant, but a great looking dash. Looks all go but a NA XR6 would out run one and not even know it was in a race.

Corvette yes,Camaro yes, 2010 5.0 litre V8 Mustang very big yes. Dodge Ho Hum, maybe the 440 magnum has some get up and go.

Theres sh*t loads of Camaros and mustangs about but not so many Challengers. This probably explains it. Shame they look tuff (that's right with the double F)

"They Need Some Aus Quality" :dontknow: Doc are you OK?

I hope so tab. It is a great shame, but even my R Spec has better build quality and mine is definately a Friday car. The FG has got a better build quality and finish than all of the present American so called muscle cars, but having said that it also costs an arm and a leg more. I will hang some pictures of this lightening strike 3 legged race horse up tomorrow. 1.33am here and time to crash.

Yeah have to agree Dodge are crap. I hired one in Vancouver and drove up to Whistler and back in a day (beach to mountains route - pretty famous there). Tell you what - I had a sore sore arse 2/3 through the trip - the seats are basically cloth with a thin slice of foam :bopp: Performance was pretty crap as well. Glad it was a hire car - looked good on the glossy ordering menu Hertz have :innocent: Would not recommend buying one for real :beerchug:
