So from factory it comes with a shorter gear stick and smoother shifting

yeah ha New Member 23 Member For: 14y 5m 30d Posted 26/07/10 09:48 PM Share Posted 26/07/10 09:48 PM I have just last week picked up my very low Km late 2009 FG turbo ute. I have waited a long time(since BA turbo first released) to get my hands on one. I drove a lot of cars/utes before buying, really enjoyed the 6 speed autos, they are an excellent box but in the end I just couldn't go past a manual for shear enjoyment and driver involvement. They kind of are a performance car, not a shopping trolley/town car. And yes the clunking from the back end can get annoying, but only on light throttle mainly 1st and 2nd gear, my wife tends to notice a lot more with her driving style, she loves the car though which made it a lot easier to make the purchase. FFUUUU... cant stand them.manual, great fun, saying that, if you are doing a heap of track work/drags ... it might pay to swap out the stock clutch with an aftermarket item.and the synchros in 2nd are weak
