Can u still have fun in a auto. How do they compare for burnouts and off line drags etc.Could really use some fast advice as I may still have time to change it. I have the 4Spd auto in my ute and I have plenty of fun in that, if only it had the 6spd Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/69338-which-gearbox/#findComment-1024008 Share on other sites

If you want quick then auto is the go. I'm yet to see a thread about a broken t56...Mate if you want a fast straight line car and drive in peak hour traffic go for the auto, if you want fun and don't drive in peak hour a lot go the manual. I think the manuals keep it more interesting/exciting if u like giving it a bit of curry.Only thing I dont like is not having a free hand, so whenim driving while on the phone and having a drink and I see a copper I have to drop them all to put my seatbelt on while trying to change gears.
