Got mine yesterday. So much fun.

Stripes are already off. Will remove the mud flaps, take off the side badges (and possibly the Falcon badge) and really looking to lower it.

Will lowering it void the warranty?

Does anyone have exact numbers of turbo sedans and turbo utes that are going to be made? Hopefully they will limit numbers to keep them a bit special. Ordered a sedan in Lightning Strike with auto. Will be sad to see the BA go.

Some things I didn't know about when I ordered the Turbo version.

I had my first look at the new car today, and I will pick it up on Friday, (2 days away).

Apart from the usual extras over the std 50th Aniv XR6,

Rear parking sensors'

Premium sound

6 stack cd player

19" wheels

I wasn't aware that the seats were full leather compared with the leather trim on the XR6 version. My wife liked the trim version instead of full leather, too late now.

I saw a XR6T the other day, fresh of the transporter, best of both worlds, Had the Full Leather on the bottom of back seat and Part Leather Non Turbo style on Back on Back seat........must have been a friday build!

I saw the numbers, but cant remember. about 5146 50th's all up for all 6 models. Least is the Turbo Utes at 450. I will try and get more info on others next week.

For turbo utes it is only 230 across Australia. They have said that due to popularity the total number across all 50th ann models will be increased.

Okay picked up the car today 50th XR Turbo. Looks fantastic.

BUT how do you take decent photo's of a black shiny car.

All I'm getting is lots of ground reflections, quite annoying..

Very early in the morning on a flat black empty car park or late arvo. Or in your garage with the door open but no direct sunlight comming in.

I still say the best way to photograph black cars is surrounded by bikini babes.
