Hi guys and gals,

Out with the old and in with the new. Goodbye BA (2004)hello FG.

Just placed and order for the 50th Anniversary XR6 Turbo. The price with the factory extras was too good to pass up.

Specs are

XR6 Turbo, 6 speed Auto

Colour Silhouette, love washing cars

2300 kg tow pack, not that I tow heavy but I hate having to bolt on a goose neck

Window tinting, Tint a car Formula 1 UV 50% tint.

$46,450 drive away

From memory I paid $46,000 for the BA with all the extras I had added.

New member. Also ordered my 50th anniversary XR6 Turbo ute today. 6 speed manual in silhouette. Only 260 of these made, apparently this will be one of the first manuals produced.

Very very keen. Asked the dealer to take off the side decals but :)

The deal is great, the factory added extras are really nice. Expected end of August.

My first Falcon since my BA XR6 5speed, (owned a 180sx in between :idunno: ), can't wait!

The standard 19's. They are similar to the XR8 ones just with darker inserts. They look pretty nice. I might change to black FPV rims down the track.

I must admit I was wondering what the 19" wheels would look like being dark grey blades along side the black body. The side decal will be in dark grey also so the wheels are not the only thing in grey.

But a step down from the BF as far as turbo and bottom end are concerned. How about that.
