Hi Guys,

Looking at aftermarket rims and not sure if I should go 19 inch

Those of you that have the 19s do you think they are ok or if you had the option again, would you go back to 18s

Or if you've driven a G6ET with both, what was better.(ride, noise, handling etc)

Cheers,

Pete

Loving my 19s - drove one with the 18s when I test drove but that was over 18 months ago

Pretty sure the quality of the tyres will be more of a factor for ride and handling than the rim size.

My Car is 4 sale

Anything on the G6ET would still be fairly smooth, the suspension is fairly forgiving. I think the biggest concern is the price of shoes for the fckers, was enough to deter a tight-arse like me :idunno:

Just sold my factory 19" and got some forged 20s can't notice any difference!!!

Also I'm on kings... Car has never has that real soft ride to it since new... More sporty than luxury but then 300+ kw and soggy suspension wouldn't work

Think of the whole picture.

If you want to go 19" and still keep the luxury side of the car. Keep all four wheels to 8.5". That way you can run a 35 profile all round for a bit less tire roar and more comfort.

Also helps the budget being able to alternate between front to rear and left to right.

Its hard to get load rated tyres in a 20 that are good....

I have nankangs on mine and they are noisy as f*ck!!! But there are not many other options...

I would definitely go 19s... The look, the comfort...

And staggered looks best on FG... You need big dished rears... They have a massive gap to fill!

What colour is the car? Maybe try some superhiros from tempe tyres with kuhmo KU31 on them... $1900 delivered... Not noisy and look tough! :3gears:
