I've got an idea...

Spray paint cans... Beenies... and a night where an 'unknown' group of people test there artistic skills out on these things...

Da Gurly and I had a camera right out the front of our driveway (Castle Hill) and I had always planned on seeing if my pitching arm was still any good... not to sure why I never did test it out... But I will confirm that it was taking out once or twice while we were living there by drivers...

Save lives, or just another pole for people to crash into on stupid bends and dumb locations...

Oxy flame should cut one of these down pretty quickly...

What you think would happen if all the Territory's one night had slashed tyres and painted windows/cameras? Im sure if a car drove past slow enough and a few paint filled water bombs balloons where thrown, the would surly up the thing out of commission for a few hours...

Repeated over and over and over again - maybe someone would get the picture one day - red paint maybe? (blood colour after all)...

:bum:

I think if there was a petition sent around for some 'real' research into road safety and speeding/fines etc rather then money grabbing - almost every Aussie ver the age of 16 would sign, and one could only hope and assume people power would have people stand up and take a serious look. Like all the recent reports recommend - serious driver education is more important then money grabbing...

Serious question to ask yourself..

Done getting a fine "REALLY" stock you from speeding? Or just piss you off?

Be honest...

:icon_ford:

Why is it you 'REALLY' speed?

Lack of focus?

Unknown speed limit?

Cos you are late?

Get stress out of your system?

Enjoyment/adrenalin?

I wonder if the people sit in the car or do they leave it on the side of the road un attended. if there un attended, I bet they will be taken out by some one that has been done by em. But seriously what would happen if you run into one of these territorys. Im just waiting to see trucks taking them out...

As dumb it sounds, theres dumb people out there that would do it

this one was manned.. by a big fella smashing down some KK's

They are all manned up here by sworn officers, and the poor little pumpkins were getting too hot in summer so they've all been retrofitted with aux air-conditioning as well.

The only signage is on the side of the vehicles and a small a-frame thingo sitting behind a tree or on the footpath that you can't ever actually see. And now the latest trick is completely un-signed to help save a few more lives.

They are all manned (by big fat public servants who sit there a read the paper all day) and they all have security cameras on the outside of them, as there was a speight of attacks on the vans down here and the operators feared for their safety.

People would drive past and chuck things out the windows of their moving cars and hit the vans. One van even had some dudes unleash on it with a BB gun and smash all the windows! Another one had a dude get out with a baseball bat, smash the window and try and break the camera and the operator! It calmed down in the last few years but. Wonder if NSW will go through a phase of people smashing them up.

Hope so... :beerchug:

:beerchug: At least you blokes get a big ass sign highlighting the vehicle....

True, but usually its too late by the time you notice it.

Everyone down here drives around looking out for them. So if there is ever a van or something similar broken down or parked on the side of the road, every man and his dog starts slamming the brakes on! Then you drive past and find out it is only some plumber talking on his mobile phone!

I do not know how they changed the law in NSW, as the Scamera cars were all monitored by police. Now they are monitored by employees of Redflex, who also is contracted to provide the scamera cars and processing of the pictures.

As they are only handing out warning letters, we should see who can get the highest speed (joking) :beerchug:
