I have had the Brembo 6/4 set up on for twenty thou and never a shudder. Not in light braking, creeping or full on hard braking. I am a left foot braker and drive an auto. I don't get it.I changed the brake fluid to Penrite Sin when my car had 5,000 kays on it as I boiled the original fluid.Surely it cant be brake fluid. the brembo equipped cars dont suffer the brake shudder problem, its mostly the early BA's with std 2 pot setup.usually a DBA rotor change and some decent pads cured the problem. I did a big stop as some lights on an off ramp went red and I had to pull up fairly hard. After 10 seconds of being stoped I realised I still had my foot hard on the brake pedal - I could see how doing this once would be just enought to fubar a rotor. (Ive seen cars with the outline of a pad perfecly deposited on the discs.)This is what causes the shudder, that's not to say everyones comments are not good advice, but I think on the falcons this is the major cause.I had 90.000 km up with no shudder untill I Had a very hard stop and had to hod the car on brakes as it was on a hill. After this it was shudder City. The biger brakes should fix it permanantly as they dont get as hot.John.
